The aim of the BON Early Investigator Society (BONEIS) is to support scientists at the early stages of their research career as we believe there is an amazing opportunity to establish a society within the areas of brain, ocular and nutrition research for the early investigator. To find out more please visit the EIS.

The mission of this society is simple and that is “to stimulate and reward early investigators“ attending the 2018 BON Conference. You might be wondering…who can become an EIS member? Answer: any researcher who is a postgraduate student or has five years or less postdoctoral experience. Please click on the following link to join the Society.

As a starting point, we are very pleased to announce that, as part of the main event of BON 2018, the poster session and the invited investigator presentation session will actively form the core elements of the 2018 conference. The BON conference will also offer the Early Investigator of the Year “The George Britton Award” – £2,500 scholarship: This unrestricted research grant is kindly sponsored by MacuHealth. Applications will be judged on an EIS member’s active research, achievements to date and planned goals. Click here for full details.
